Syria Peace Not Possible Due to Iran Friendship

by Eric on July 18, 2008

It is no secret that Syria and Iran are close friends. The mid-East terror pipeline starts in Iran, travels through Syria, into Southern Lebanon (Hezbollah) and ends at the Israeli boarder, where Iranian backed terrorsts try to attack, and have gone to war with, Israel.

As long as Iran and Syria stay buddy-buddy, is Israel-Syria peace possible? Yes, if you are ignorant and niave, such as Ehud Olmert and George W. Bush. No if you are a realist.

Iran uses Syria to willingly transport weapons to Hezbollah. Until those ties are severed, no Israeli-Syrian peace should be considered.
