Israel Outlaws Hamas "Charities"

by Eric on July 7, 2008

Israel has made donations to Hamas “charities” illegal. Israeli sources found that funds going to these charities were, in fact, being used to support terror operations rather than the citizens the funds are allegedly destined to. 36 funds linked to the “Union of Good” organization were affected.

This move was denounced by Hamas, who claim the funds only go to benefit those in need. Israel asserted otherwise, claming that the Hamas “global empire” is used to launder funds for terrorism.

Big surprise. No different than the way Arafat distributed his money.
