Israel Going to War: Good for my Blog

by Eric on July 18, 2008

Over the last week, I have covered two topics in depth. First, the growing possibility of a war with Iran and Iran’s missile tests. Second, the Israel-Hezbollah prisoner swap.

With all of the buzz going on about a war, we had a spike in page views to three days of record viewers. The Hezbollah deal brought far fewer viewers. (Most views came from Google Searches)

In a first time event, I am going to tell you something about page views. If Israel goes to war, it will be good for this blog. It will be bad, however, for my family and friends in Israel. Just an interesting perspective that I never thought about before.

This image shows the big spike in traffic from posts about the war in Iran. Apparently people find that much more interesting than a prisoner swap deal. What do you find intersting about Israel? What do you search for in Google or a news site to find out about Israel?
