Hamas Learned from Hezbollah

Beyond the direct consequences of freeing murderers from prison, Israel’s decision to release terrorists in exchange for Israeli bodies had many indirect effects. Around the world, terrorists have seen a weakness in Israel. Hamas, who currently still holds an Israeli soldier captive, realized that they hold a strong bargaining chip.

YNet reports that a source within Hamas said that they learned how to really put a strangle on Israel.

“The two are unrelated, but the Kuntar deal proves that patience and fortitude and a tough standing on the part of the Palestinian public will eventually lead to us seeing celebrations here (in Gaza) similar to those in Lebanon yesterday,” he said.
