Hamas Leader’s Son Converts, Supports Israel

by Eric on July 31, 2008

Hamas leader Sheihk Hassan Yousef is probably red in the face watching today’s news. His son, Massab Yousef, is now a Christian. Not only that, however, a Christian who supports Israel. An interview in Ha’aretz with Yousef, now prefering the names Joseph, reported that he now lives in California and cannot return home, to Ramallah, for fear of death.

“You Jews should be aware: You will never, but never have peace with Hamas.
Islam, as the ideology that guides them, will not allow them to achieve a peace
agreement with the Jews,” he said. “They believe that tradition says that the
Prophet Mohammed fought against the Jews and that therefore they must continue
to fight them to the death.”

He now repents for his time living in a culture of hatred and murder.

Massab’s family has rejected the article, claiming that it is false. They claim that the story was completely made up.
