Even Palestinians want Hamas Prisoners in Jail

Hamas wants hundreds of prisoners released in exchange for Gilad Shalit, who has been captive for over two years. PA President Abbas says that if the Hamas prisoners are released, he will dismantle the PA.

This is a bold statement by the “moderate” party leader. The PA has been in a power struggle since Hamas won the Palestinian parliamentary election well over a year ago and took control of Gaza (violently) last year.
