With Olmert resigning his position as Prime Minister, Kadima primaries will be held on September 17th to determine the new leader of the party, who will also be the country’s new Prime Minister (if he/she succeeds in forming a coalition government).
Who will lead Israel? It comes down [...]

When I went to Jewish summer camp, we hiked, rock climbed, sang Jewish songs, swam, and celebrated Shabbat. Those activities are common in Israeli summer camp too. Just down the road, little Muslim boys and girls get to go to camp too.
In Gaza, parents can choose between two summer camps for their children, Hamas camp [...]

Hamas leader Sheihk Hassan Yousef is probably red in the face watching today’s news. His son, Massab Yousef, is now a Christian. Not only that, however, a Christian who supports Israel. An interview in Ha’aretz with Yousef, now prefering the names Joseph, reported that he now lives in California and cannot return [...]

I just did a little reading on the impact of Olmert leaving his post as Prime Minister, and I found an interesting tidbit in the fine print.

Free Gaza claims that while Israel says Gaza is no longer occupied, Israel is controling all land, sea, and air routes into the disputed territory. First off, Israel has the right to close boarders between [...]

The AP reports that Ehud Olmert is going to end his term as Prime Minister in September. Kadima is having an internal election on September 17th. After a new party head is elected, Olmert will step down and allow that new leader to attempt to put together a new government coalition.
“I have decided I won’t [...]

Hamas wants hundreds of prisoners released in exchange for Gilad Shalit, who has been captive for over two years. PA President Abbas says that if the Hamas prisoners are released, he will dismantle the PA.
This is a bold statement by the “moderate” party leader. The PA has been in a power struggle since [...]

This is a real question. My parents are looking into a trip to Israel, and I have only gone on student trips. Do you know of any good tours or companies? Should they just do it themselves? My father has never been, and my mother has not been in nearly 30 [...]

A report by the London-based Center for Social Cohesion recently revealed a poll which indicated that 1/3 of UK Muslim students believe there is religious justification for killing. Even more disturbing is that 40% of Muslim students supported the integration of Sharia law into British law, and 1/3 also believed in a worldwide caliphate.
