About Those Prisoner Swaps

Releasing Arab prisoners serving lengthy terms in Israeli prisons is one of Israel’s worst policies to this day. The very fact that Israel would even consider swapping a single prisoner for supposed peace or its abducted soldiers (or abducted soldiers corpses) is disheartening. Would the United States negotiate with hostile terrorists openly at war with them the release of hundreds of prisoners? The very idea is ridiculous – that Israel would let its enemies back into the streets and again become a threat to the country. If a stable peace were ever established, then – and only then- could Israel begin such negotiations. However, the terrorist organizations that these prisoners are affiliated with A) do not recognize Israel and B) vow to destruct Israel and drive all of its Jewish inhabitants into the sea. Maintaining this policy will only encourage these terrorist organizations to continue abducting Israeli soldiers and again demand the release of prisoners. There have been many instances in which prisoners that were released by Israel collaborated in further attacks against the nation.

Israel finds itself in many situations where the Arabs organizations demand the release of prisoners for hostages; however, Israel must find a way to cope with this, just as they were able to save approximately 100 hostages in the Entebbe Operation in 1976. If Hamas seizes Israeli soldiers as hostages, Israel must respond by imposing rigorous sanctions on Hamas and Gaza. So far, Israel has consistently appeased Hamas, and what have they received in return? Israel

should impose a real blockade (not this fake, exaggerated one) until Hamas agrees to return the hostages.

Does anyone find amusing the fact that Hamas, Hizbullah and the many terrorist organizations value the life of one Israeli far more than the life of their own people? They prove this every time they demand the release of hundreds of prisoners for just one of Israel’s.
