Honest Reporting and CAMERA Experience Wikipedia Bias

I used to be a very active editor on Wikipedia. (My username on Wikipedia is Eric1985). I quit editing around the time that WikiProject Palestine came about. While some of the groups members were neutral and fair in their edits, they generally defamed Israel all over Wikipedia, and I was tired of the Wiki Politics. I had founded WikiProject Israel quite a bit earlier, and I hope they are continuing to fight bias on Wikipedia. I even promoted the project on this blog once.

Now a research study has proven what I found about a year ago. An organized group of editors are attacking and changing Israel related pages on the “neutral” encyclopedia. CAMERA, a hard worker for Israeli causes, suggested that many of their followers join Wikipedia to fight Israel bias. They were met with a fight from the self proclaimed “Electronic Intifada.”
