Israel Reduces Electricity to Gaza Strip

by Eric on February 8, 2008

Israeli power plants have reduced allotment shared with the Gaza Strip. Unlike the recent blackout, this is not a complete power cutoff.

Hopefully Hamas supporters will see the results of a terrorist regime, and will shift support to the more moderate Fatah party. However, that will probably not happen.

The Israeli Minister of Infrastructure said that “no country in the world would agree to provide electricity to people who shoot at the electricity plant which supplies it to them.”

Human Rights groups say that this is unethical and a violation of international law. I say that there is no obligation to give anything to people who try to kill you.
