Israel Bombs Hamas’ Gaza Interior Ministry

by Eric on January 18, 2008

Israel proved that it is serious about ending rocket attacks against Israel. Israeli jets bombed the Gaza Interior Ministry, controlled by Hamas, as the first government building attack against the Palestinians since Hamas took control of Gaza in June.

The bombing took place while the building was vacant. As the building was in a residential area, 30 were injured and one person was killed.

It is unfortunate to see violence escalating in the Gaza Strip, but Israelis have sat and watched missiles continually fired out of Gaza long enough. It is time to stand up for ourselves.

If Palestinians want this to stop, they should stop firing rockets.
