The EU in Israel

by Eric on December 30, 2007

Both the EU and UN should work to be more careful with their vehicles. Less than two years ago, a “stolen” UN van was used to illegally cross the Israel-Lebanon boarded to kidnap an Israeli soldier, starting a war.

Today, Israeli soldiers found a “stolen” EU truck, filled with 6.5 tons of Potassium Nitrate, the fertilizers used in explosives, marked as sugar.

If the van was stolen, the EU should have reported it missing. Israel has enough trouble guarding itself against unmarked enemies, let alone disguised EU officials.

If the Western world wants to see peace move forward, it should take steps to create peace, not arm militants. Both the EU and UN need to see what is happening here. Stop condeming Israel and start watching your own people and equipment.
